Bethlehem Lutheran Church Women
BLC Women Are...
vibrant, Spirit-filled people who study the Word of God, do God's will, and act boldly in our faith.
One Purpose: As a community of women created in the image of God, called to discipleship in Jesus Christ, and emplowered by the Holy Spirit, we commit ourselves to grow in faith, affirm our gifts, support one another in our callings, engage in ministry and action, and promote healing and wholeness in the church, the society, and the world.
One mission: To mobilize women to act boldly on their faity in Jesus Christ.
All women of Bethlehem Lutheran Church are members of BLCW and are cordially invited to attend any or all of our activities and meetings. We support each other's faith and serve the community. Officially affiliated with the "Women of the ELCA," we gather several times a year around particular themes, to celebrate special days, and to conduct business. Each month small groups gather for Bible Study, prayer, and support, at various days and times, including evenings.
We hold retreats, cook and serve meals after funerals, make quilts for Lutheran World Relief and for young people, have rummage sales, craft displays, and other service-oriented projects and fund-raisers for a host of causes.
All women are welcome, invited, and encouraged to join us in any of the events, projects, and Bible Studies! Call the church office for more information!
Working Women's Lunch meets at noon on the last Monday of the month at Wheat Montana on Main Street. You need not be employed to attend!
